Bi in SQL 2008

Hi,

does anyone have some information about the further developments of bi in the next release SQL 2008? Does anyone have a kind of timetable for the release?

Thanks in advance,

hs

SQL Server 2008? That will be great to hear from that and see more advanced features compared to current powerful SQL Server 2005. I would love to see more cool data mining algorithms packed with it and more advanced visualization features of it.

Looking forward to hearing from the team or any expert here for the excited information.

With best regards,

Yours sincerely,

SQL Server 2008 is scheduled to be released in the first half of 2008. We released a preview build at TechEd 2007, but there were no new data mining features present as of yet - there were some cool dimension design features though.

The next preview to be released is CTP4, which will include improvements to the time series algorithm. I currently don't know exactly the date CTP4 will be released or how it will be distributed.
