BI IDE

Does the BI IDE comes with VS2005 or SQL SERVER 2005? Cause i couldnt find the templates when i open up the templates in VS,thanks

If you refer to BI Dev Studio. It is being installed as part of SQL Server setup. Just installing VS wouldnt get you BI Dev Studio.

I have installed VS with the express edition. And when I install the sql server 2005 i create an instance name instead of a default name with all the RS,AS,IS etc. However on the program startup I still see the sql server express studio (which i do not want to remove) and coudnt see the template as well.

Part of your SQL Server (the full product) installation, you should select installing management and development tools.

What I suspect is: that Express tools and Full product tools cannot co-exist together on the same box.
